Do you want to shape and evolve a critical enterprise platform that enables real business transformation?
We are looking for a passionate and experienced ServiceNow Technical Specialist / Architect to take ownership of the design, evolution, and long‑term success of our ServiceNow platform.

This role goes beyond support or development. You will influence architecture, drive innovation, and partner closely with the business to unlock the full potential of ServiceNow across the organisation.

The Role & Your Impact

In this role, you will take end‑to‑end ownership of the ServiceNow platform, combining deep technical expertise with architectural vision. You will play a central role in ensuring the platform remains scalable, secure, and aligned with both current and future business needs.

Your impact will be felt across the organisation by enabling automation, improving efficiency, and delivering high‑quality solutions that support enterprise‑wide transformation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the design and evolution of the ServiceNow platform across core modules such as ITSM, CSM, ITOM, and CMDB

  • Defining architecture standards, solution blueprints, and integration strategies

  • Translating business requirements into elegant, sustainable technical solutions

  • Reviewing and guiding development to ensure best practices, maintainability, and platform health

  • Designing and implementing integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and enterprise systems

  • Driving automation to reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency

  • Overseeing platform performance, upgrades, security, and governance

  • Acting as a trusted advisor to stakeholders by clearly communicating technical options and trade‑offs

  • Mentoring developers and administrators while fostering a culture of continuous improvement

  • Proven experience designing and delivering ServiceNow solutions at scale

  • Solid experience across core modules, particularly ITSM (experience with additional modules is an advantage)

Technical capabilities

  • Strong scripting skills using JavaScript and the Glide API

  • Experience with Flow Designer and Service Portal / UI

  • Hands‑on integration experience with REST/SOAP APIs and external systems

  • Good understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, performance optimisation, and upgrades

  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to balance short‑term business needs with long‑term platform sustainability

  • Clear communication skills, especially when explaining complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders

Additional Skills & Interests We Value

  • Experience working in complex, enterprise‑scale environments

  • Exposure to additional ServiceNow modules beyond ITSM

  • A strategic mindset with the ability to think beyond tickets and tasks

  • Curiosity and a proactive approach to continuous learning and improvement

  • Experience influencing technical direction without formal authority

What We Offer

Novozymes was formed in 2000 when Novo Nordisk split into three companies: Novo Nordisk A/S, Novozymes A/S and Novo A/S.
