Location:
Candidates must be located in Illinois, Texas, Colorado, or Michigan. For individuals based in our Michigan and Illinois locations, this will be a hybrid role, requiring both in-office and remote work. For candidates in Texas and Colorado, this position will be fully remote.

Fusion92 is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SEO Specialist to join our dynamic Denver-based SEO department. As an SEO Specialist, you will play a crucial role in optimizing our client's websites for search engines and driving organic traffic. As an SEO Specialist, you will work closely with the SEO Director and our SEO Managers to support the development and execution of effective search engine optimization strategies for our clients including, but not limited to conducting keyword research, analyzing website performance, implementing on-page, technical, and off-page optimization strategies, and monitoring search engine rankings. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with 1-2 years of experience to gain hands-on experience in the field of SEO and contribute to the growth and success of Fusion92's clients.
This role can be remote or a part of our Chicago or Detroit office.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Learn our SEO processes and combine them with your existing SEO knowledge.
• Conduct thorough keyword, market, and competitor research to identify high-value keywords and opportunities for client website optimization.
• Assist in creating and maintaining detailed SEO performance reports for clients, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs) and progress over time.
• Execute a range of on-site, off-site, and technical SEO tasks including, but not limited to Optimizing existing or developing new content, Performing regular technical SEO audits and providing recommendations to web developers for resolving issues, Creating 301 redirect maps, Creating SEO maps with optimizations around metadata, headers, and URLs, Writing Schema, Identifying opportunities for internal linking, Conducting backlink research and assisting with outreach strategies., Support SEO Managers in conducting regular technical SEO audits to identify issues with client websites and provide recommendations, conducting off-page SEO research, and assisting in the creation and execution of backlink outreach strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including web developers, designers, and marketing professionals, to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into all website development and content creation aspects.
• Stay up to date on the latest industry trends and search engine algorithm updates to ensure compliance and maximize campaign strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of SEO experience.
• Proof of innovation - we hire innovative thinks. You need a history of innovation and critical thinking to work at Fusion92.
• Passion for digital marketing and staying updated with industry trends.
• Self-motivated and a passion for learning.
• Attention to detail.
• Analytics mindset with the ability to interpret and draw insights from large data sets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
• Google Analytics Certification is a plus, but not required.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and common CMS platforms like WordPress is a plus, but not required.
• Experience with SEO tools like SEMrush, Screaming Frog, ahrefs. Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager is a plus, but not required.

The hiring range for this discipline within our industry is $50,000 to $60,000. Where an employee is paid within this range will depend on multiple factors including, but not limited to location, years of experience, education, internal pay structure, and other contributing factors.
