Description

How to apply: Please email a resume and cover letter to [email protected]

This role isn’t for maintaining the status quo.  This is a leadership seat - with a path to agency ownership.

At MediaSource, we don’t promote products - we elevate the voices of mission-driven organizations whose work changes lives.

From breakthrough cancer therapies to the human stories behind patient care, our work sits at the intersection of medicine, media and meaning.

We’re looking for a Senior Vice President of Public Relations to lead, elevate and evolve our PR practice - and to help shape the future of the agency itself.

This is a rare opportunity for a senior leader who wants more than a title. Someone who wants real influence, long-term upside and a seat at the table.

What You’ll Own

Build the Team. Shape the Agency.

You will lead the PR team - but also play a key role in where MediaSource goes next.

  • Coach and develop senior talent into confident client leaders
  • Create clarity, accountability and organizational excellence within the PR function
  • Partner with agency leadership on growth, positioning and innovation
  • Contribute to new business and long-term strategic direction

This is where you move from leading work to building something that lasts.

Lead the Work That Matters

You will be the senior-most PR voice on our most important accounts - guiding strategy, advising executives and stepping in when the stakes are high.

  • Trusted advisor to healthcare leaders navigating complexity, reputation and visibility
  • Architect of integrated PR strategies that move perception - not just generate coverage
  • Steady leadership presence in high-stakes moments

Lead as the visionary behind what’s next.

Raise the Bar for PR Excellence

You will codify what “great” communications looks like and institute best practices across the agency.

  • Set the standard for storytelling, media outreach and integrated communications
  • Make decisive calls on priorities in complex environments
  • Identify and close quality gaps

This is about building a reputation - for the agency and for yourself.

Who This Is For

You’re a senior PR leader who has:

  • 15+ years of experience, including deep agency leadership
  • A track record of advising executives and leading complex, high-visibility work
  • Strong instincts, presence and the ability to lead through ambiguity
  • A desire to build - not just manage

Healthcare experience is a plus. Leadership, judgment and ambition are essential.

Why This Role Is Different

  • You’re not inheriting a rigid structure - you’re helping define it
  • You’ll work directly with agency leadership, not through layers
  • The work has real-world impact across healthcare
  • There is a long-term path to equity participation for the right leader

This is an opportunity to grow into true ownership - not just responsibility.

The Bottom Line

If you’re looking for another title, another checklist or another version of the same agency role, this isn’t it. If you’re looking for influence, leadership and the opportunity to help build and share in the future of an agency, let’s talk.
