Get to Know the Team

We are a high-performing team of passionate, fun-loving, and individuals with varied backgrounds who come together to support a common mission: Enable Grab to deliver faster, better, and efficiently with each and every rollout. Our team is largely based in Singapore and our team members are spread across various countries managing multiple initiatives to deliver features that touch the everyday lives of millions of customers across Southeast Asia through Grab. You will report to Senior Technical Program Management Leader and based in Jakarta office.

Get to Know the Role

  • Manage a variety of complex, cross-functional programs and lead all aspects of assigned program delivery. Get a taste of how Grab really works, behind the scenes.
  • Create and maintain the Delivery Roadmap for the teams you work closely with, along with the respective Tech and Product Leaders.
  • Define the way of driving these programs and constantly find ways of improving this process in a data-driven manner. Owners of the collaboration process and tools.
  • Embrace Grab's culture and principles as well as promote an environment that embodies Grab's Principles and Values.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

  • Collaborate closely with the Technical Program Team to track and systemize the progress of concurrent tech projects, and manage project/program risks to ensure success.
  • Oversee and coordinate multiple projects and resources, working within a matrix environment and leading Agile/Scrum teams as a coach or scrum master.
  • Prepare project schedules, define milestones, track progress, and provide reports.
  • Work with engineers, designers, quality engineers, and product teams to resolve blockers and ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Manage project and program risks effectively, ensuring that all projects are delivered successfully and on time.

Qualifications

What Essential Skills You Will Need

  • Over 6 years of technical program management experience, ideally with a background in development.
  • Strong project delivery or technical leadership experience.
  • Proficiency in managing multiple projects concurrently within a matrix environment
  • Effective communication skills for handling interactions with management, teams, and cross-functional groups, projects and programs.
  • Experience in a dynamic, fast-moving environment that requires autonomy and the ability to manage various projects and tasks simultaneously.
