Senior Tax Processing Specialist

The Tax Processing Specialist – Associate prepares and files US sales and use tax returns for level 1–2 clients, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness. The role maintains client satisfaction through regular communication and supports senior team members on filings, payments and notices.

• Prepare an average of 600+ sales and use tax returns per month for level 1–2 clients.
  
• Review client tax data for accuracy and raise discrepancies for resolution.
  
• Build client relationships through regular, clear communication.
  
• Support senior Tax Processing Specialists with online filings and payments.
  
• Support senior Tax Processing Specialists in handling and tracking notices from tax authorities.
  
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for assigned clients.
  
• Take part in structured mentoring and begin peer support activities.
  
• Complete other related duties as assigned.
  

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, commerce or business, or relevant experience in the same field.
  
• 2–5 years of related experience in tax compliance, preferably US sales and use tax.
  
• Familiarity with standard tax compliance regulations for level 1–2 clients.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Microsoft tools.
  
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy under deadlines.
  
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  

• Experience with indirect tax returns software.
  
• Tax-related certifications.
