If so, we are looking for a Senior Systems/Network Administrator who will:

  • Install, configure, and maintain server hardware and software, monitor server performance, and troubleshoot issues to ensure maximum uptime
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and support operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux)
  • Maintain systems to apply security patches and software updates
  • Perform application administration activities such as creating, modifying, and deleting users, optimizing remote access, and security access for messaging systems, databases, and web applications
  • Implement and manage data backup and recovery processes
  • Test and validate backup systems to ensure data integrity
  • Research hardware and software and recommend new acquisitions
  • Interface with vendors to obtain and install software and peripherals
  • Maintain compliance with software licensing procedures and policies
  • Maintain software and hardware inventory
  • Maintain asset and software license records
  • Create and maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
  • Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
  • Monitor network performance and address connectivity issues
  • Implement and enforce security measures to protect systems and data and conduct security audits and address vulnerabilities
  • Maintain monitoring and mitigation for security threats
  • Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements for the application infrastructure and to ensure the IDP is capable of handling the needs of the applications over time
  • Ensure the IDP supports automated collection of SOC2 compliance evidence
  • Investigate and resolve IDP issues as quickly as possible to minimize impact
  • Use ServiceDesk Plus to manage support requests and activities
  • Ensure satisfactory response time for employee "help desk" support
  • Oversee training of staff in use of new equipment and software

Requirements

The Need-To-Haves:

  • 5+ years experience working in an IT role, with increasing levels of responsibility
  • Experience working with a development team
  • Experience managing public or private cloud environments
  • An understanding of security measures needed to protect systems and data
  • Knowledge of software license compliance
  • A high degree of problem-solving skills in order to meet established quality and accuracy standards
  • Skills to handle multiple, simultaneous projects and handle work interruptions
  • A proven track record showing initiative, drive, and self-discipline
  • Clear, effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage time to meet commitments

The Nice-To-Haves:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Technology or Computer Science
  • High proficiency with Windows server and desktop operating systems
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365, virtualization, PowerShell, Terraform, Intune, virtualization, automated backup software
  • Experience with ZTNA networking principles
  • Experience conducting security audits
  • Experience with Help Desk and Asset Management systems (ServiceDesk Plus preferred)

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000.
