TITLE:   Senior Systems Integration Analyst                         STATUS: Exempt

MANAGER:  Director, Business Analysis and Innovation

DEPARTMENT: Information Technology

SUMMARY:

The Systems Integration Analyst is a hands-on individual contributor responsible for analyzing, implementing, testing, troubleshooting, and supporting enterprise system integrations and related technology initiatives. The role provides Bank-side technical ownership of data flows, APIs, file-based interfaces, mappings, transformations, secure data delivery, validation, reconciliation, and production readiness. The analyst works directly with internal teams and external partners to trace issues end to end, automate repeatable validation where appropriate, and drive assigned technical workstreams to completion. The initial major assignment is the Bank’s phased AML platform replacement across Fintech and Core Banking; afterward, the role will support integration initiatives across the Bank.  The position is in Oak Brook, Illinois.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary:

o Lead assigned integration workstreams and develop a clear understanding of source systems, target platforms, interfaces, dependencies, and end-to-end data flows.

o Analyze integration designs and requirements, including APIs, file-based interfaces, schemas, transformations, authentication/connectivity, secure data delivery, processing schedules, controls, logging, error handling, retry/reprocessing, and monitoring.

o Analyze and map customer, account, transaction, payment, operational, and other data required for integrations; perform data profiling, source-to-target mapping, validation, and reconciliation.

o Use SQL, scripting, and related tools to compare source and target data, validate record counts and financial totals, identify missing, duplicate, or invalid records, confirm transformations, and automate repeatable validation and reconciliation checks.

o Work with internal teams and external partners to define, document, and validate interface requirements, clarify ownership, and coordinate technical dependencies and implementation activities.

o Review and challenge technical specifications, mappings, interface designs, assumptions, and deliverables; identify gaps and ensure material issues are resolved before production.

o Translate business, operational, and regulatory needs into technical, data, integration, and testing requirements; coordinate across business, technology, security, operations, Risk/Compliance, and external providers.

o Develop and execute integration and data-validation tests and support end-to-end, regression, parallel, user acceptance, and production validation.

o Troubleshoot integration failures and data-quality issues end to end by inspecting payloads, files, logs, errors, mappings, and reconciliation results; identify root cause and drive resolution and retesting.

o Manage assigned technical workstreams by tracking milestones, risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, decisions, defects, readiness, and status; follow actions through closure and escalate material risks or delays.

o Support cutover, stabilization, and transition to ongoing support, including job/interface monitoring, failed processing, retry/reprocessing, reconciliation, incident management, escalation, and knowledge transfer.

o Maintain technical documentation, including data-flow diagrams, interface inventories, source-to-target mappings, data lineage, reconciliation procedures, test evidence, implementation decisions, and support procedures.

o Apply reusable integration, testing, and production-readiness practices across Bank initiatives and onboard new data feeds or interfaces by defining requirements, validating exchanges, reconciling results, and establishing monitoring.

Initial Major Assignment - AML Platform Implementation:

o Serve as the primary Bank-side technical resource for the phased implementation of the new AML platform across Fintech and Core Banking.

o Understand the customer, account, ownership, transaction, and payment data required by the AML platform, including source systems, business meaning, relationships, and processing characteristics.

o Define and validate feed scope, source-to-target mappings, transaction-code classifications, customer/account relationships, APIs/files, transformation rules, and integration dependencies.

o Trace representative records end to end from source systems through integration layers to the AML platform; validate payloads/files, control totals, rejected records, and error handling, and investigate delivery, mapping, or transformation failures.

o Perform SQL- and script-based reconciliation between source systems and the AML platform to identify missing, duplicate, incomplete, or incorrectly mapped/transformed data and drive issues to resolution.

o Support historical data migration and establish repeatable controls for data completeness, accuracy, and reconciliation.

o Coordinate integration testing, parallel validation, cutover readiness, production verification, and defect resolution for each phase.

o Work with AML/BSA, Core Banking, Fintech, Operations, technology teams, and implementation partners to translate compliance and business needs into technical requirements.

o Ensure monitoring, reconciliation, documentation, knowledge transfer, and support procedures are in place before each production phase.

Secondary:

o  Troubleshoot production integration and data issues spanning multiple systems or providers and coordinate resolution.

o Participate in technical due diligence, integration design reviews, and implementation planning for new technology platforms.

o Help improve the Bank’s integration standards, documentation, testing practices, production-readiness controls, and implementation governance.

o Other duties as assigned.
