The incumbent works closely with project teams to align procurement efforts with business needs, identifies cost-saving opportunities, and ensures compliance with procurement regulations and policies. They also support procurement reporting and analytics, track market trends, and assist in supplier performance evaluations.

Details / responsibilities 

  • Execute procurement activities, ensuring cost-effective and timely acquisition of subcontracts, materials and services
  • Conduct supplier evaluations and manage vendor relationships
  • Support contract negotiations and ensure compliance with procurement policies
  • Post-award management of assigned subcontracts and procurement packages
  • Assist in procurement reporting and tracking performance against objectives
  • Provide technical support to procurement teams and contribute to process improvements
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Certification such as CIPS or equivalent is beneficial
  • 7+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain management.
  • Strong understanding of purchase-to-pay processes and supplier management.
  • Experience with procurement tools and ERP systems.
  • Ability to identify cost-saving opportunities and manage procurement risks.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Skills Required
