Senior/Staff Engineer, Product

Kick is an applied AI company building accounting software that does the work for you. We’ve raised $20M from OpenAI Startup Fund, General Catalyst and Google Ventures to help millions of entrepreneurs automate the boring stuff, so they can focus on what matters most.

We’re going through significant traction and looking to work a senior/staff Product Engineer with a track record of building intuitive, performant end-to-end product experiences and is interested in making what they build feel like “magic” because AI is doing real work behind the scenes.

• Work directly with the CEO, Operations, AI and Design teams to scope and ship user-facing features with beautiful and scalable UI components.
• Redefine best-in-class software development processes to build an industry leading product.
• Continuously research and evaluate new technologies to improve the speed, scalability, and performance of our systems.

• 5+ years of experience in building and shipping full-stack production web applications.
• Are fluent in modern frontend (React/Typescript) tooling while maintaining robust server-side logic.
• Experience with current infrastructure (AWS, GCP) architecture and design patterns.
• Enjoy iterating quickly with users to deliver polished user-focused features.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience as a founder or founding team member at an early-stage startup
• Experience with use of modern LLMs and developer tools (Cursor, Claude Code, etc)
• Familiarity with finance or accounting

• Wroclaw, Poland, 4-5 days per week in person
• Office is located next to the Wroclaw main train station
• Candidates should be based in Wroclaw or open to relocation

• $130,000-$190,000 USD salary + competitive equity
