As a Software Engineering Lead, you will play a crucial role in leading the development and maintenance of innovative, scalable, and secure applications that support the firm’s strategic objectives. Your expertise in front-end and back-end development, cloud infrastructure, vendor implementation and integration, and automation will be critical in building transformative digital products.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role. You will help establish technical direction, contribute directly to implementation, guide engineers, and coordinate third-party platform providers and implementation partners. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into reliable, intuitive, and maintainable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architecture, development, and maintenance of secure, n-tier enterprise applications, combining robust backend services using C# and .NET with scalable, reusable frontends using React 18+, TypeScript, and component-based UI frameworks such as MUI.
  • Design and integrate resilient connections across external APIs, internal systems, and vendor platforms.
  • Serve as the technical lead and an active contributor throughout implementation, including application development, configuration, integration, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Drive CI/CD excellence through automated testing (unit, integration, end-to-end), strong debugging practices, and adherence to security-first coding standards to protect sensitive client data.
  • Review technical designs, code, test coverage, and implementation deliverables to ensure quality, security, scalability, and alignment with established standards.
  • Mentor engineers, contribute to code reviews, promote best practices, and maintain clear technical documentation.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Business Solution Engineers, QA, and business stakeholders, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

 Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering, including system design, development, testing, and production support.
  • Hands-on experience with modern full-stack development and cloud-native application development
  • Experience building modern web applications using React (18+), TypeScript, and component-based UI frameworks (e.g., MUI).
  • Solid experience with API design and integration (REST, GraphQL) and distributed systems.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases, SQL optimization, and data modeling.
  • Experience with system architecture, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, production support, debugging, and security-first development practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead technical delivery, contribute directly to implementation, mentor engineers, review technical work, and coordinate third-party vendors or system integrators.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and explain complex technical concepts clearly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with AWS services, such as (ECS/EKS or Lambda), API Gateway, S3, RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB, SNS/SQS, CloudWatch.
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and tools.
  • Experience in developing portfolio management and trading applications and working with third party wealth management and order management platforms.
