As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building and optimising data‑driven solutions that power LSEG’s strategic platforms. You will work in a collaborative engineering environment, contributing to high‑impact initiatives across our data ecosystem. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex, modern data platforms and enjoys driving technical excellence.
What You Will Do- Design, implement and enhance scalable data solutions using Data Lake technologies (ideally Delta).
- Build and maintain Change Data Feed pipelines to ensure real‑time data accuracy and reliability.
- Develop and support mirroring capabilities for data replication and consistency across environments.
- Engineer modern cloud‑native services using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
- Work with event‑driven architectures, including ingestion, orchestration and processing layers.
- Contribute to solutions built on Microsoft Fabric, integrating data, analytics and governance capabilities.
- Collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams across Engineering, Architecture and Product to enable seamless solution delivery.
- Champion clean code, best practices, automation, CI/CD, observability, and reliability.
- Participate in technical discussions, peer reviews, and decision‑making processes to shape engineering standards.
- Deep understanding of Data Lake architectures, including Delta Lake and optimisation strategies.
- Strong knowledge of Change Data Feed, mirroring, and real‑time data ingestion/processing patterns.
- Hands‑on capability with AKS and container‑based microservices.
- Practical experience with event‑driven systems (e.g., Event Hubs, Kafka, or similar).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, its data engineering components and integration patterns.
- Ability to solve complex technical problems and make pragmatic engineering decisions.
- Comfortable working autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team culture.
- Clear, concise communication and the ability to explain engineering concepts to diverse audiences.

LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated annual gross base salary for this position is between zł203,800 - zł322,200. Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Annual Bonus Plan (”bonus plan”). Target Bonus % will be commensurate with role level and posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job-related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.Benefits Information:
