Senior Software Engineer (Integrations)

Capitalize is seeking an Integration and Automation focused Software Engineer to join our growing company. As a key member of a small, fast-paced team, your work will be instrumental in our efforts to help Americans better save for retirement.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Improve Our Core Transfer Technology: Design and implement solutions to help us better facilitate transactions for our customers and partners by integrating effectively with financial institutions and other stakeholders.

• Build Scalable Architecture: Develop and optimize resilient systems that can support growing transaction volumes and deliver reliable performance during periods of peak demand.

• Cloud-Native Development: Build and operate highly available services within our modern, AWS-based cloud architecture.

• 4+ years of software engineering experience designing, building, and maintaining cloud-native applications

• Deep expertise in Node.js and TypeScript; experience with Java is a plus.

• Excellent problem solving skills, and an appreciation for taking on new challenges.

• Knowledge of relational databases and/or NoSQL databases

• Experience working in rapid product-development environments with fast iterations and tight feedback loops

• Ability to troubleshoot complex, highly distributed systems

• Working experience with automation tools and frameworks

• Experience building or maintaining continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines

• Knowledge of AWS security best practices

  Experience with DevOps practices and infrastructure as code (IaC)
