We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer – Go/Golang Backend who is passionate about building high-performance, scalable backend systems and APIs and enjoys working with modern cloud-native technologies.
What You’ll Do
- Design and develop scalable backend services and REST APIs using Go/Golang.
- Build microservices and cloud-native applications with a focus on performance, reliability, and security.
- Design clean, maintainable, and reusable code following modern engineering practices.
- Integrate APIs and backend services with databases, third-party systems, and enterprise applications.
- Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud platforms to build and deploy production-grade applications.
- Troubleshoot complex technical and production issues and drive effective solutions.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, and technical design decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Continuously improve application performance, scalability, observability, and reliability.
What You’ll Need
- 6+ years of software development experience with strong backend engineering expertise.
- Strong hands-on experience with Go / Golang.
- Proven experience building REST APIs, backend services, and microservices.
- Strong understanding of Go concurrency, goroutines, channels, error handling, and interfaces.
- Good knowledge of data structures, algorithms, design principles, and API design.
- Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, etc.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform — AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong experience with Git, CI/CD, debugging, and production troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with gRPC, Kafka/RabbitMQ, Redis, or event-driven architectures.
- Experience with AWS services and cloud-native application development.
- Knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, ELK, or similar observability tools.
- Experience with Linux, Bash, Terraform, or Infrastructure as Code.
- Exposure to Python or Node.js.
- Experience building high-scale, distributed systems.
