Job Description
As a valued colleague on our team, you will collaborate with team in designing, producing, testing, or implementing moderately complex software, technology, or processes, as well as create and maintain IT architecture, large scale data stores, and cloud-based systems.

The Senior Software Engineer- Enterprise Platforms role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:
- Independently assess customer and business requirements, clarify technical needs, and translate them into scalable solution designs and implementation approaches.
- Support application deployments and operational readiness, including logging, monitoring, configuration management, and production support as appropriate.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy moderately complex software solutions using technologies such as Node.js, Python, .NET, ReactJS, and ExpressJS.
- Develop and integrate cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS services such as Lambda, S3, ECS, DynamoDB, SNS/SQS, Textract, and load balancing.
- Implement new technologies and application capabilities while coordinating development, testing, deployment, and production-readiness activities across the team.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, developers, security teams, and other stakeholders to coordinate end-to-end delivery and resolve technical dependencies.
- Apply secure development practices, including appropriate use of IAM, SSO, secrets management, access controls, and least-privilege principles.
- Troubleshoot application, integration, infrastructure, and production issues; perform root-cause analysis and implement sustainable fixes.
THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Minimum Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of professional software development experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting production applications.
- Hands-on experience with at least one backend programming language or runtime such as Node.js, Python, or .NET.
- Experience working with cloud-based applications and services, preferably AWS services such as Lambda, S3, ECS, DynamoDB, SNS/SQS, load balancing, or similar technologies.
- Working knowledge of software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, testing, debugging, application security, and software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.
- Shows curiosity and adaptability in learning and responsibly applying new technologies, including artificial intelligence, to reimagine how we work
Desired Experiences
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
- Familiarity with identity, access management, and secure application development concepts, including IAM, SSO, least-privilege access, and vulnerability scanning.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools such as GitLab, Terraform, automated deployment pipelines, and source-code management.
- Familiarity with enterprise integration technologies and services such as APIGEE or similar API management and integration platforms.
- Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs and working with modern web application frameworks such as ReactJS and/or ExpressJS.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and Terraform, incorporating automated testing, deployment controls, and SAST/SCA/DAST security scanning.
- AWS certification such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Solutions Architect or Developer certification is preferred.
Target Salary Range: $123,000 to $161,000 a year
