About Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Test Engineer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in software testing and deep expertise in Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM). In this senior capacity, you will architect and lead comprehensive test strategies for SCCM deployments, validate complex configuration workflows, and ensure the reliability of critical components including triggers, stored procedures, and compliance policies.
You will act as a technical authority, driving automation improvements, modernizing test frameworks, and performing advanced root-cause analysis across system-level configurations. This role requires strong coding or scripting experience, a deep understanding of SCCM architecture, and demonstrated expertise working with large-scale configuration environments. You will collaborate with engineering, architecture, and operations teams to uphold enterprise-level quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the design and execution of advanced test strategies for complex SCCM deployments and configuration workflows.
Perform verification of triggers, stored procedures, referential integrity, and alignment with system and architectural specifications.
Review, interpret, and enhance code using at least one programming or scripting language; recommend design and quality improvements.
Execute system-level configuration tasks to validate end-to-end SCCM operations and infrastructure behavior.
Perform high-level manual testing, drive automation initiatives, and optimize test coverage across automation frameworks.
Refactor and enhance legacy test cases and automation scripts; conduct deep analysis of automated test failures and provide resolutions.
Produce detailed, actionable defect reports and collaborate with cross-functional teams for root-cause analysis and issue resolution.
Deliver comprehensive test summaries, quality metrics, and risk evaluations to senior stakeholders.
Job Requirements
More than 5 years of experience in software testing, QA engineering, or related technical roles.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, with a strong sense of ownership and professional integrity.
Ability to clearly articulate complex testing issues and produce high-quality test documentation in English.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capability to understand complex systems quickly.
Proficiency in reading, understanding, and modifying code in at least one programming language or scripting language.
Deep knowledge of SCCM architecture, deployment operations, and configuration management principles (highly preferred).
Experience leading test activities or mentoring junior engineers is an advantage.
