Role overview:

We are looking for a Senior SAP HCM Full-Stack Developer to join our BizDevOps team. This is a technical development and engineering role. You will design, write, test, and maintain code for SAP HCM systems.

Your primary focus will be full-stack development - building frontend SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and developing backend ABAP/OData logic.

You will also provide technical support, debugging, and code adjustments for SAP HCM Payroll (PY) and Time Management (TM).

Occasional travel (up to 5 times per year).

We are looking for a proactive, solution-oriented individual who is passionate about helping organizations optimize their human resources processes.

Technical responsibilities:

  • Develop and deploy custom web applications using SAPUI5 and JavaScript. Extend and modify standard SAP Fiori applications, and configure the SAP Fiori Launchpad, tiles, and target mappings.

  • Build and configure backend OData services. Write and optimize Object-Oriented ABAP code, including custom reports, interfaces, enhancements, BAdIs, and User Exits.

  • Develop and maintain technical interfaces connecting SAP HCM with external platforms, such as SAP SuccessFactors and other software.

  • Perform ABAP debugging, log analysis, and troubleshooting for SAP HCM Personal Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Payroll (PY) and Time Management (TM) system errors.

  • Apply technical adjustments to payroll code, wage type logic configurations, and system parameters, including updates for year-end processing activities.

  • Set up, automate, and monitor SAP background jobs and execution streams (using Streamworks). Prepare technical test scenarios, execute regression, and interface tests, and manage deployments within an Agile/DevOps pipeline using Jira and Confluence.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP software development.

  • Practical knowledge of SAPUI5, JavaScript.

  • Experienced in OO-ABAP, OData Service Development, BAdIs, User Exits, and BAPIs.

  • Technical understanding of database tables, clusters, and data models within SAP Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM), Payroll (PY) and Time Management (TM). Functional knowledge in some of these SAP HCM modules is an advantage.

  • Practical experience using Jira and Confluence within an Agile/BizDevOps team setup.

  • Working proficiency in English (written and spoken).

Preferred qualifications:

  • SAP certifications in ABAP or SAP Fiori/UI5 Development.

  • Experience building integrations using SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) or SuccessFactors APIs.

  • German language skills (working proficiency).

What we offer:

  • End-to-end involvement from bid to project completion

  • Continuous learning through advanced presales enablement programs and SAP certifications
