We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our web and mobile applications. In this role, you will design and execute comprehensive test cases, identify and manage defects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues efficiently. You will contribute to automation efforts, maintain traceability of requirements, and work on Azure-based deployments to support continuous integration and delivery. Your expertise will help deliver high-quality solutions that meet business and user expectations.
- Recognize testing needs and design, review, and execute Functional, Exploratory, Regression, and Integration test cases.
- Identify bugs promptly and ensure quality deliverables; document, track, and manage defects using JIRA and Confluence.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing for web and mobile applications.
- Establish and maintain traceability of requirements through test cases to improve coverage.
- Participate in troubleshooting and triaging issues with different teams to drive root cause identification and resolution.
- Contribute to automation scripting as required by project demands.
- Execute database queries for back-end testing and performance validation.
- Work on Azure applications, including app deployment and automation tasks.
- Hands-on experience in Testing Life Cycle activities, including reviewing needs, specifications, and technical design documents for feedback.
- Strong experience in web application testing and mobile app testing, ensuring compliance with modern standards.
- Familiarity with Git, BitBucket, SQL, Postman, Swagger API documentation, and other testing tools and methodologies.
- Proficient in defect management and bug reporting tools like JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Knowledge of Azure cloud services, including API, Function Apps, App Services, and PowerShell scripting for automation.
- Experience in build deployment and setting up CI/CD pipelines for Azure cloud environments.
- Knowledge of AI tools is an added advantage.
