We are seeking highly experienced Senior QAR professionals to support a major semiconductor construction project in North Phoenix, AZ. This role will support large-scale basebuild construction activities on one of the most advanced manufacturing projects in the United States.

We are immediately hiring for multiple positions.

The Senior QAR will oversee and execute quality assurance and quality control activities for semiconductor construction scopes including CSA, mechanical, electrical, process utility, and cleanroom related systems. This role will work closely with construction teams, subcontractors, commissioning teams, and owner representatives to ensure all installations meet project specifications, applicable codes, and quality standards.

The successful candidate must be self-motivated, technically skilled, highly organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced construction environment. Candidates should demonstrate progressive responsibility throughout their career with strong field execution and documentation experience on large industrial or semiconductor projects.

Local candidates are highly preferred. Relocation assistance may be available for outstanding candidates. Per diem is not available for this role. Qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Perform quality assurance and quality control oversight for semiconductor basebuild construction activities
  • Conduct inspections and verify installations comply with project specifications, approved drawings, codes, and quality standards
  • Support quality programs for CSA, structural, mechanical, electrical, piping, cleanroom, and process utility systems
  • Review inspection reports, test documentation, turnover packages, NCRs, RFIs, punch lists, and closeout documentation
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, construction management teams, commissioning teams, and owner representatives on quality related matters
  • Participate in quality walks, audits, inspections, and turnover activities
  • Verify contractor compliance with approved quality plans and project requirements
  • Support commissioning and startup activities by ensuring systems are properly documented and construction complete
  • Monitor and report quality issues, deficiencies, and corrective actions
  • Maintain accurate project quality documentation and reporting logs
  • Assist with implementation and continuous improvement of site quality procedures and standards
  • Participate in internal and external quality audits as required
  • Promote safe work practices and support all Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security requirements

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 to 15 years of construction quality experience supporting semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, mission critical, or industrial projects
  • Strong experience supporting large-scale basebuild construction projects
  • Experience with cleanrooms, high purity environments, process utilities, or complex MEP systems strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of applicable construction codes and standards including ASME, NFPA, IBC, and industry quality requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, inspection test plans, and turnover documentation
  • Experience managing NCRs, punch lists, inspections, and quality documentation processes
  • Strong communication and coordination skills in a field construction environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction documentation platforms such as Procore, BIM 360, ACC, or similar systems preferred

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
  • Equivalent field experience will be considered in lieu of formal education
