Who are we?

Svante is a rapidly growing clean energy technology company making commercial-scale carbon capture and removal a reality and enabling global industries to play offense in the fight against climate change that will accelerate the global transition to a lower-carbon economy.

The growing success of our company is owed to our commitment to our people, our emphasis on our values, and our innovative technology. Passion is put into what we do every day.

Purpose of the Role:

As the Project Manager, you will lead assigned pre-FEED and FEED studies and project development activities, guiding cross-functional engineering and project teams to ensure successful delivery of Svante projects from initiation through completion and in accordance with contractual requirements.

You will be responsible for managing project scope, schedule, budget, resources, risks, and execution plans while maintaining a strong culture of Health, Safety, Environment and Community (HSEC) leadership and project execution excellence. You will work closely with clients, EPC/EPCM partners, contractors, and Svante’s internal Product, Global Supply Chain, Technical Services, and engineering teams to deliver Svante’s proprietary equipment, engineering deliverables, technology licensing, and project-related services.

This role will lead multiple industrial projects and pursuits, initially focused primarily on FEL2 and FEL3 projects, while supporting the development and execution of proprietary equipment installations and small pilot plant systems. The successful candidate will be a seasoned project professional who can balance competing priorities, manage ambiguity, build collaborative teams, and drive projects toward their financial, schedule, safety, and operational objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • You have 8+ years of project management experience, preferably including 5+ years of engineering-related design or project management experience within an industrial, engineering, construction, or technology environment, along with a diploma, bachelor’s degree, or higher in engineering, construction, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • You have strong project management expertise, with demonstrated experience managing multiple projects, complex scopes, budgets, schedules, resources, risks, contracts, and change orders within dynamic project environments.
  • You have experience leading pre-FEED, FEED, FEL2/FEL3, engineering, construction, commissioning, or project development activities, preferably involving EPC/EPCM contractors, industrial clients, and technology or equipment delivery.
  • You have excellent interpersonal, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively engage with clients, contractors, engineers, technical teams, and stakeholders at all organizational levels.
  • You are a collaborative, adaptable, and self-motivated leader who demonstrates strong HSEC leadership, commercial awareness, risk management, and team development skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a matrix environment and navigate ambiguity and competing priorities.

What Success Looks Like in This Role:

  • You will successfully lead assigned pre-FEED, FEED, and project development activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contractual and project requirements.
  • You will establish and maintain effective project execution, construction, commissioning, planning, scheduling, risk, and resource management plans, ensuring project teams remain aligned with scope, priorities, and objectives.
  • You will build strong and collaborative relationships with clients, EPC/EPCM partners, contractors, and internal Svante teams, serving as the primary Svante contact at the project level and maintaining clear, proactive communication.
  • You will effectively manage project financial performance, scope changes, contracts, risks, claims, and change orders, identifying issues early and implementing appropriate mitigation and corrective actions.
  • You will foster a culture of HSEC leadership, accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and execution excellence, while developing project teams and applying lessons learned to strengthen Svante’s project delivery standards and capabilities.

What We Do

WHAT WE DO We make filters and rotary contactor machines that capture and remove CO2, a greenhouse gas, from industrial emissions and the air. Our proven carbon capture technology is based on unique solid adsorbents — and it’s scalable, eco-friendly, and commercially available today. OUR UNIQUE APPROACH TO CARBON CAPTURE Based on environmentally friendly solid sorbent technology, our carbon capture and removal solutions offer companies in heavy emitting, hard-to-decarbonize industries a commercially viable way to capture and remove CO2 emissions.
