We’re looking for a Senior Product Developer to help turn product ideas into production-ready products.

This is not a pure strategy role. You’ll be the person who takes a founder’s vision and drives the execution—working closely with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal stakeholders to ensure products move from concept to launch with speed, structure, and quality.

As effectively a one-person product development team, you’ll be responsible for keeping timelines moving, chasing decisions, resolving issues, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.

Supplier Co-Development

Work directly with contract manufacturers and ODM/OEM partners—primarily in China—to develop new products, review samples, track issues, and drive progress.

Hardware Program Management

Build and manage development timelines, milestones, dependencies, and risk tracking across the product lifecycle.

Product Specification

Translate high-level product ideas into clear, structured specifications and briefs that suppliers can build from.

Quality & Compliance Coordination

Coordinate with CE, safety, and EMC workstreams and ensure compliance activities are integrated into the development process.

Stakeholder Management

Provide proactive updates, escalate risks early, and keep founders and teams informed before they need to ask.

Cross-Cultural Collaboration

Build strong working relationships with Chinese manufacturing partners and manage communication across time zones.

• 5–8 years of experience in product development, hardware program management, or technical project management for physical products.

• Experience managing a hardware product development cycle end-to-end, from specification through to production-ready.

• Direct experience working with Chinese manufacturing partners (ODM/OEM/contract manufacturers).

• Strong organisational and project management skills.

• Experience with consumer electronics, fitness equipment, or electromechanical products is preferred.

• Familiarity with CE and product compliance processes.

• Fluent in English; Dutch is a strong plus.

• You’re execution-oriented and get energy from moving things forward.

• You’re highly organized and detail-oriented—nothing slips through the cracks.

• You’re comfortable being the “how” person: taking a vision and making it real.

• You follow up persistently and hold suppliers accountable without damaging relationships.

• You communicate proactively and clearly.

• You stay adaptable when plans inevitably change.

• You think like a builder and operator, not just a coordinator.

This is a build role, not a maintenance role.

You’ll be managing suppliers, chasing timelines, solving problems, and bringing structure to a fast-moving product development process. Some weeks will be strategic; others will be spent reviewing samples, following up factories, and unblocking production issues.
