Senior Product Designer

We're looking for a senior product designer with strong product judgment, exceptional visual craft, and the ability to move a problem from ambiguity to a shipped experience on their own.

There is substantial work ahead across AI creation workflows, the editor, reusable video systems, and team collaboration. We're hiring to give important product areas a dedicated design owner who can clarify what matters, make decisions, and drive the work forward.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role. You'll work directly with Ajinkya Gajbhiye, Head of Design, and partner closely with founders and engineers. You'll have context, feedback, and support, and you'll own your work with little day-to-day direction.

Find and frame the right problems. Work with users and the team to understand workflows, uncover friction, and separate the underlying need from a requested feature. Turn incomplete requirements into a clear problem, sensible scope, and proposed direction.

Design experiences end to end. Own research, exploration, information architecture, flows, prototypes, and final designs. Cover the full experience, including onboarding, empty states, errors, edge cases, and interface copy.

Make complex creation feel approachable. Design how people express intent, review AI generated work, refine their videos, and move between automation and precise controls. Build clear mental models for powerful creative capabilities.

Bring the work to production quality. Craft interfaces with intentional typography, hierarchy, composition, spacing, motion, and interaction details. Reach a high level of polish on your own and carry it through implementation.

Drive decisions through shipping. Seek input early, communicate progress, surface risks, and resolve open questions. Work with engineering to understand constraints, make trade-offs, and review the built experience.

Build patterns that scale. Extend our components, interaction patterns, and design systems through real product work. Keep new features coherent while leaving room for the product to evolve.

Learn from what ships. Use customer feedback, product usage, and relevant metrics to see whether the experience works and what to improve next.

3+ years in product design. A portfolio that shows strong problem solving and polished execution. We care about your contribution, your decisions, and what shipped.

Independent ownership. You can take an open-ended problem, identify what you need to learn, propose a direction, and deliver without every next step laid out.

Strong product judgment. You prioritise, explore alternatives, and balance user needs, business goals, and technical constraints.

Exceptional visual and interaction craft. Your flows and interfaces hold up under scrutiny, down to the details.

Strong taste. You notice what makes products feel considered and can explain why an interaction, layout, or visual choice works.

Clear communication. You explain your thinking, ask useful questions, seek feedback early, and challenge assumptions constructively.

Systems thinking. You connect individual decisions to the wider product and know how patterns should evolve as complexity grows.

Curiosity about creation. You care about how people tell stories and communicate through video, visuals, and sound.

• Experience designing or deeply using video, media, animation, or other creative tools.

• Motion design, visual storytelling, or hands-on content creation.

• An AI-native workflow: using AI to explore, prototype, build, or iterate, while applying your own judgment to the output.

• Experience with complex editors, canvas or timeline interactions, or AI-assisted product experiences.

• Working prototypes or frontend skills that help you test ideas and collaborate with engineering.
