Job DescriptionYour Role
- Invoice / payment requests verification, coding, and processing.
- Review/ Quality check on the invoices and employee expense reports
- Research on hold, unpaid documents and follow-up for resolution
- Reconcile vendor statements and follows-up on past due invoices
- Payment run – Create payment batches, review, and work with onshore team to resolve exception items.
- Capable enough to handle the other sub-processes like alternative invoicing, Reclassification and Ad-hoc requests that are received in the Generic Mailbox
- Meeting process SLAs on consistent basis
- Adhering to SOX and Internal Controls of the Process and Organization
- Ownership of manual trackers (Issue & Error log, Query log, exception tracker etc.)
- Record Errors; prepare root cause analysis, corrective action and preventive measure for the process errors.
- Answers vendor and employee inquiries over phone and email.
- Support senior team member to monitor SLA and adhering to daily deliverables
- Participates in A/P projects under direction of supervisor (Continuous Improvement- Projects)
- Prepare standard operating procedures, process flows charts and ensure the changes are updated timely.
- Ensures all AP teams members are trained on new procedures
- Should be capable enough to take care of all process queries (Onsite/ Onshore) and should be helping the team members
- Capable enough in planning and executing the work assignments during other team member leaves
- Contribute to the ad hoc reports, daily metrics through dashboard, metric for customer calls etc.
- Contribute towards process Improvement
The Experience You Bring
- 4+ years of experience in accounting/accounts payable experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP); understanding of internal control elements.
- Demonstrates strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, effective team leadership and employee development capabilities, exceptional organizational and customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality results under strict deadlines.
- Experience with accounting and financial systems, preferably Oracle;
- Experience in procure to pay process improvement and application systems implementation; knowledge of Microsoft Office suite

Academic requirements
- A Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Business is required with an emphasis in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Knowledge of Financial Services Industry preferred
- Certified Public Accountancy or Chartered Accountancy a plus
Shift Timings
Work hours will be from 12:30 PM to 9:30 PM IST (01:30 PM to 10:30PM IST) and may include late hours and/or weekend support – during close.
Shift timing may be mapped as per region supported.
