We’re looking for a Senior Platform Engineer who enjoys solving difficult technical challenges and wants their work to have real operational impact.
Working location will be Cheltenham. Hybrid working available.
What You’ll Do
As a Senior Platform Engineer, you'll showcase your expertise by driving technical direction, setting the technical strategy for deploying new solutions in challenging environments and enhancing existing platforms. You embrace the "MVP" approach, designing & building incrementally and learning quickly from failures. You love tinkering and discovering innovative solutions. You're comfortable setting technical direction, eliciting ideas from both your team and our customers, and confident managing and supporting production systems, balancing reliability, performance, and operational excellence in live environments.
We believe in using the right tools and technologies to deliver the best outcomes for our customers. While expertise in every tool isn't required, we value experience with similar technologies and an understanding of the problems they solve. Knowledge of GitHub and GitHub Actions, Terraform, Kubernetes, Bash would be desirable, along with all of your known DevOps technologies and tools, coupled with experience working within a variety of Cloud based platforms.
