Job Purpose
We are seeking a talented and motivated Senior PHP Developer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience in PHP application development. The ideal candidate is passionate about building scalable, high-performance web applications and possesses strong problem-solving skills. As a key member of the Development Team, you will contribute to designing, developing, testing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications while collaborating closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and fellow developers.

- Analyze business requirements and collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to understand functional and technical needs.
- Design, develop, test, and maintain robust PHP-based web applications.
- Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented code following coding standards and best practices.
- Develop and optimize database structures, queries, and stored procedures in MySQL.
- Participate in application architecture discussions, technical design, and solution implementation.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
- Review code, identify improvement opportunities, and contribute to maintaining code quality.
- Support deployment activities and resolve production issues when required.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of Core PHP and MySQL.
- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Experience working with MVC architecture.
- Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Experience in designing and consuming REST APIs.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and Web 2.0 technologies.
- Knowledge of version control systems, preferably Git.
