• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable software components using .NET/C# and modern technologies.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code, ensuring maintainability, reliability, and strong unit test coverage.
• Contribute to the team’s technical design discussions and help implement solutions that align with agreed architectural principles and standards.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and fellow engineers to translate business requirements into effective technical implementations.
• Participate actively in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Support and mentor less experienced engineers through pair programming, knowledge sharing, and technical guidance.
• Identify and troubleshoot technical issues related to performance, reliability, and scalability, proposing pragmatic improvements.
• Keep up to date with relevant technologies and frameworks, and proactively suggest improvements to tools, practices, and processes.
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to implemented features, components, and integrations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field;
• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering
• Proven experience in building applications using .NET/C#.
• Deep understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and architectural best practices.
• Strong knowledge of database systems;
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and technologies like Apache Kafka or Confluent Cloud is a plus.
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., Blazor, React) is a plus.
• Solid understanding of cloud-native development and cloud platforms is a plus.
• Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and automated testing, is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication skills in both Greek and English
• A passion for clean code, performance optimization, and continuous learning.
