Job DescriptionWe are seeking a Senior Multimedia Designer specialized in motion graphics and graphic design with at least five years of experience. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in branding, graphic design, video editing, animation, and motion graphics.
Responsibilities:
- Brand Development: including logo design, brand expression, and brand book creation
- Video editing and animation: producing walk-through videos, advertising videos, character animations, and more
- Creation of still images for various platforms
- Graphic design: developing banners, infographics, and brochures
- Illustration and creative projects: crafting storyboards, storytelling, and innovative concepts
- Manage multiple projects with diverse strategies and aesthetics
- Effective teamwork and communication
- Collaborate with team members, designers, and product managers to understand requirements and translate them into effective design solutions
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in branding, video editing, and design technologies
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a multimedia designer
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, etc.)
- Experience in branding, including logo design, brand development, and creating brand books
- Expertise in motion graphics and video editing (character animations, advertising videos, etc.)
- Ability to create high-quality still images, infographics, and digital content for various platforms
- Excellent knowledge of storytelling, illustration, and creative thinking for visual projects
- Experience working on cross-disciplinary teams and managing communication across different departments
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple clients and projects simultaneously
- Understanding of color theory, typography, and layout principles for effective visual communication
- Ability to work with tight deadlines and adapt to different design aesthetics and project strategies
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Fluent in design software and ability to adapt to new technologies quickly
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using AI-powered design tools for animation, graphic design, and video editing (e.g., MidJourney, Adobe Firefly)
- Experience with CapCut or other mobile-first video editing tools
- Knowledge of 3D modeling software (e.g., Blender, Cinema 4D) for creating 3D animations and renders
- Familiarity with modern video formats for social media platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, YouTube)
- Understanding of motion design for web and interactive digital experiences
- Experience with web design tools and responsive media creation
- Knowledge of marketing principles and how to create content that aligns with branding and advertising strategies
- Experience in overseeing and mentoring junior designers
- Familiarity with project management tools for tracking deadlines and deliverables
- English language skills are desirable but not mandatory
Compensation: CAD $1,000 - $1,500
