Responsibilities:

- Partner directly with internal stakeholders across departments to understand project scopes, objectives, and risk tolerance; translate stakeholder needs into clear, enforceable contract language.
- Identify and flag legal, regulatory, and business risks in contract terms; escalate issues appropriately to senior legal counsel
- Serve as a subject matter expert and administrator for the CLM (Ironclad) platform, including managing templates, workflows, user permissions, reporting, and system enhancements; troubleshoot issues and support user training as needed.
- Manage and continuously improve contracting workflows, processes, reporting, and metrics to drive efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
- Identify opportunities for automation, process enhancement, and operational improvements across the contract lifecycle
- Support ad hoc legal and cross-functional projects as needed.
About You:
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage a high volume of contracts and competing deadlines simultaneously.
- Self-motivated, driven, and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to build trusted relationships with stakeholders across all levels and departments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain contract terms and risks in clear, business-friendly language.
- High attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree required; paralegal certificate, JD, or relevant advanced degree a plus (not required).
- 7+ years of experience in contract management, contract negotiation, or a related legal/commercial function, ideally within the biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry.
