The developer will join a mission-critical IT division responsible for managing applications related to infrastructure management, traffic planning, and maintenance scheduling within the rail transport sector. These applications are essential for day-to-day operations and are supported by a 24/7 on-call service. The development is carried out in a Large-Scale Scrum (LeSS) environment.
Job DescriptionTechnical Analysis: Convert functional requirements into robust technical solutions.
Feature Development: Implement scalable Java-based solutions in a microservices architecture.
Maintenance & Support: Optimize and maintain legacy applications in a complex IT environment.
Bug Fixing & Troubleshooting: Investigate and resolve technical issues in coordination with LeSS teams.
Test Automation: Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery.
Documentation: Maintain technical documentation and architectural decisions.
Deployment & Release: Deploy software updates in an on-premise environment.
Code Quality: Ensure clean code, SOLID principles, and security best practices.
Mentoring: Coach junior and mid-level developers; support knowledge sharing within the team.
On-Call Rotation: After initial training, participate in the 24/7 on-call service rotation.
- You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree combined with relevant experience
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY REQUIREMENTS
- You are fluent in English, knowledge of Dutch OR French
