About the Opportunity

An innovative and fast-growing international deep-tech manufacturing company is looking for a Senior IT Infrastructure & Systems Administrator to lead the architecture, scalability, and optimization of its mission-critical IT infrastructure across Spain and global operations.

This is a strategic, hands-on role where you'll be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of enterprise systems while supporting the company's continued international growth. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, driving infrastructure initiatives and defining best practices across complex, high-availability environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect, deploy, and maintain mission-critical IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and optimal performance.
  • Design and implement enterprise security policies, identity management solutions, and access control frameworks.
  • Lead infrastructure strategy, including vendor management, hardware lifecycle planning, and capacity forecasting.
  • Drive complex infrastructure projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and technology implementations.
  • Establish technical standards, documentation, and operational best practices.
  • Design, implement, and maintain enterprise clustering and networking solutions, optimizing connectivity, resilience, and security.
  • Collaborate with global teams to continuously improve infrastructure reliability and operational excellence.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience managing complex enterprise IT infrastructure.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Strong experience designing and supporting high-availability environments, clustering technologies, and enterprise infrastructure.
  • Advanced knowledge of:
    • Windows and macOS environments
    • Active Directory
    • Enterprise networking
    • Meraki
    • Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM) tools
  • Experience administering Linux systems is highly desirable.
  • Database administration experience is considered a strong plus.
  • Professional fluency in English and Spanish is required.
  • German is a plus.
  • Availability to travel occasionally between company locations within Spain.
