Random Studio’s Amsterdam office is looking for a Senior Graphic Designer to join our creative department team.
As a Sr. Graphic Designer, you will be for the most part working on our Nike client. We are looking for someone with a love for typography, branding, motion graphics. Given the fact that most of our work is spatial you need to have a strong interest in translation your graphic and motion skills onto the physical interactive space.
Qualities we are looking for
* Someone with a sharp portfolio of typographic-based projects and a keen eye for good graphic-led animations;
* Comfortable using design tools such as Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects.
* Experience with motion design (After Effects, preferably).
* Very good understanding of production for graphic elements, printed and digital.
* We are looking for someone with love for the Nike brand. A good understanding of their ways-of-working is a plus.
Responsibilities
* Lead out on several projects for our Nike client
* In some cases manage jr and or medior designers
* Discuss with other team members with different discipline to reach a holistic aesthetic.
* Design for digital products using technologies such as touch interfaces or other input devices.
* Create examples of motion design with tools such as After Effects and Figma Prototyping to handover to developers.
* Location: Paris or Amsterdam
* Start date: asap

Skills Required
- Portfolio of typographic-based projects (portfolio must be attached to application)
- Strong typographic skills and graphic-led animation sensibility
- Proficiency with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, After Effects
- Experience with motion design
- Very good understanding of production for graphic elements, printed and digital
- Ability to translate graphic and motion skills into physical interactive spaces
- Experience designing for digital products using touch interfaces or other input devices
- Ability to create motion design examples with After Effects and Figma prototyping for handoff to developers
- Experience leading projects and managing junior/medior designers
- Affinity for the Nike brand and understanding of their ways-of-working
