Type: Full-time
Reports to: Software Architect
About Snic Solutions
SNIC Solutions is a fast-growing startup building Factory Thread, a next-generation decision intelligence and integration platform. We help factories digitize workflows end-to-end — from shop-floor visibility and real-time analytics to automated decisioning and worker enablement. Our mission is to bring clarity, speed, and intelligence to manufacturing operations through modern software, thoughtful design, and scalable cloud systems.
We’re looking for a hands-on Senior Full-Stack Engineer who can architect, build, and scale high-performance applications that enable mission-critical factory workflows.
Why this role exists
Factory Thread is expanding across modules — production monitoring, digital workflows, quality management, and predictive operations. We need an engineer who can:
- Build powerful, scalable frontends and backends
- Own features end-to-end in a startup environment
- Work across cloud, on-prem deployments, and devops
- Mentor developers and strengthen engineering practices
What you will work on
Frontend Engineering
- Build responsive, high-performance applications using React and Next.js
- Implement dashboards used by operators, engineers, and plant managers
- Create internal tooling, configuration UIs, and admin consoles
- Optimize UX for real-time, data-heavy interfaces
Backend & Platform
- Develop scalable services using Node.js + Fastify
- Design core APIs for data ingestion, workflows, user management, and analytics
- Implement secure authentication, RBAC, audit logs, and workflow logic
- Improve backend performance, caching, and reliability
Cloud, On-Prem & DevOps
- Deploy and manage systems on Azure
- Build production-ready on-prem deployments using Docker containers
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines
- Implement observability using logs, metrics, and alerts
Engineering Ownership
- Participate in sprint planning, break down features, and drive execution
- Collaborate closely with product teams to translate requirements into solutions
- Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices
Who you are (ideal fit)
- 5–8 years of full-stack development experience
- Strong expertise with React, Next.js, TypeScript, and Node.js
- Experience building production-ready dashboards or real-time apps
- Proficient in building APIs with Fastify (or similar high-performance Node frameworks)
- Hands-on experience with Docker and container-based deployment
- Comfort with Azure or similar cloud environments
- Startup mindset — ownership, speed, and autonomy
Nice-to-have
- Familiarity with manufacturing, supply chain, or industrial IoT systems
- Experience instrumenting analytics (Mixpanel, GA, etc.)
- Exposure to Flutter or mobile app development

What We Do
Snic Solutions is a platform + solutions company helping manufacturers modernize operations using composable tools, predictive insights, and outcome-first implementation.
We exist to remove the friction from digital transformation—so manufacturers can keep up with what their customers demand. As expectations rise for traceability, responsiveness, flexibility, and compliance, manufacturers are feeling the pressure to transform—but they’re often trapped by siloed data, legacy systems, and slow, high-risk implementations.
We believe digital transformation should be fast, flexible, and practical—not overwhelming.
At the core of our approach is Factory Thread, our proprietary data virtualization platform designed for manufacturing. It enables seamless IT-OT convergence, IIoT integration, and AI-driven insights by connecting spreadsheets, legacy systems, and modern tools like Siemens Opcenter—without the delays and disruptions of traditional integration methods.
Complementing this is SmartOps, our outcome-based delivery model that combines onboarding, training, admin support, validation readiness, and customer success into a single, scalable subscription. We package software and services into composable, verticalized solutions that help manufacturers digitize MES, APS, LIMS, and QMS workflows quickly and confidently.
We’ve delivered results for over 150 manufacturing sites across North America and Asia, including leaders in pharmaceuticals, metals, industrial equipment, food and beverage, and medical devices. Our experience spans GxP-compliant environments, 21 CFR Part 11 validation, and AI-powered operational analytics.
Headquartered in Dallas, with global teams across the U.S., Canada, Southeast Asia, and India, we’re making manufacturing digital transformation fast, fearless, and scalable.
