Senior Full Stack Developer

All thanks to a small, perfectly fitting hand brace. That is what we do. At Manometric we design and produce custom orthoses using proprietary 3D scanning, smart software and scalable production.

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you build the critical software behind our patient care, ensuring our effectiveness only increases as we serve more clients in more countries.

Orthopedic care was always done by craftspeople, leading to slow processes and inconsistent quality. Our vision is using technology and institutional learning to deliver consistently great products. This requires strong automation and constant data-driven improvement based on data, without creating crushing administrative load for therapists. You resolve this tension. Your superpower is abstracting away complexity from users. This lets our therapists put patients first, while the system takes care of production, reimbursement and product improvement. Your daily work consists of designing and building full stack TypeScript applications, working on projects such as:

• Creating a digital portal to give patients visibility and control over their own care journey.

• Setting up our ordering process to give a full picture of every client, without manual data entry.

• Automating complex reimbursement processes to keep our organization nimble and patient-focused.

You crushed the first 12 months if you drove one or more complex projects to success. Everyone using the products that you built report a great improvement in their daily work. You won't face these alone. You collaborate closely with Harrie, Geraldi, Tristan, Sipke and others. As a senior, you raise the bar for the rest of the team through reviews and by introducing best practices.

• Frontend: React, TypeScript

• Backend: Node.js, PostgreSQL, REST APIs

• Infrastructure: Docker, Digital Ocean, GitHub Actions

• Testing: Jest, Playwright

We're looking for a senior full stack engineer who cares as much about the people using the software as the code behind it. Someone who:

• Has 5+ years of building production TypeScript applications.

• Has had end-to-end ownership of building and maintaining solutions that made a clear business impact.

• Has successfully worked with complex business requirements.

• Has worked directly with users of their software.

• Has a good sense for UX and can make things easy to use without leaning on a designer

• Is hands-on, pragmatic and takes ownership of what they ship

• Fluent in English. Dutch is a plus.
