What you’ll doBuild and maintain the editor, including blocks, inline tools, media, and layout.
Improve performance across rendering, virtualization, streaming, and caching.
Keep behavior correct and consistent: accessibility, selection/undo, and paste fidelity.
Support real-time collaboration: presence, conflict resolution, and dependable WebSockets.
Work with design and customers to test ideas and ship improvements.
5+ years building production web apps.
Expert TypeScript and React.
Shipped complex UIs (editors, docs, whiteboards, IDE‑like apps).
A11y awareness and performance profiling.
Clear communication and follow‑through.
Built productivity tools used daily.
Deep editor experience (ProseMirror/Tiptap, Lexical, Slate, CodeMirror) or custom schema/OT.
Real‑time collab (CRDT/OT) and presence systems.
Virtualization or canvas/SVG renderers.
Design systems (Radix/shadcn/ui), Tailwind.
Ed‑tech or content creation background.
Frontend: Next.js/React, TypeScript, Tailwind, Radix/shadcn/ui, Zustand, React Query
Backend: Node.js, WebSockets, MySQL/Prisma, GCP/Cloud Run
