About Interface Education Services

Interface Education Services is a global education and student development company with nearly two decades of experience helping ambitious young people and their families prepare for the future.

We began with college counseling, building deep expertise in guiding students toward leading U.S., U.K., and international universities. But college admission has always been an important outcome—not our ultimate mission. We believe the more meaningful question is not simply where a student gets in, but who they become along the way.

Today, Interface is building the next chapter of that vision through Rising Generation Development: a broader approach to preparing young people for meaningful lives in a world being reshaped by artificial intelligence, economic uncertainty, and rapid social and technological change. Academic achievement alone is no longer enough. Young people need self-awareness, character, confidence, resilience, judgment, emotional intelligence, leadership, and a strong sense of purpose.

Through college counseling, writing coaching, mentorship, leadership development, career exploration, real-world experiences, and our evolving student development framework, we help young people better understand who they are, what they stand for, and how they want to contribute to the world.

Our ambition is bold: to help define a new category of education and become the world's most trusted partner for families seeking to develop the next generation of leaders, innovators, creators, and stewards.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Enrollment Advisor to lead business development and enrollment efforts across the New York City market and broader tri-state area.

This is a relationship-driven sales role for someone who knows how to build a market—not simply manage inbound leads. You’ll develop relationships with prospective families, schools, community organizations, educational professionals, and other referral partners while guiding families through a thoughtful, consultative enrollment process.

You’ll own the full sales cycle, from generating new opportunities and conducting initial consultations through follow-up, proposal, and enrollment. Because families are making an important and highly personal decision, our approach to sales is built around trust, expertise, responsiveness, and a genuine understanding of each student and family.

The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, highly relationship-oriented, comfortable working with discerning families, and energized by the opportunity to expand Interface’s presence in the New York market.

What You’ll Do

Business Development & Lead Generation

  • Build a sustainable pipeline of prospective families through referrals, networking, community engagement, strategic partnerships, events, and other business development activities.
  • Develop relationships with schools, educational professionals, community organizations, parent networks, and other potential referral partners.
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities to expand Interface’s presence throughout New York City and the broader tri-state area.
  • Represent Interface at workshops, seminars, conferences, community events, and other programs.
  • Develop and execute creative strategies for generating new business within your market.

Consultative Sales & Enrollment

  • Manage prospective families throughout the full enrollment process, from initial inquiry through executed enrollment agreement.
  • Conduct thoughtful discovery conversations to understand each family’s goals, priorities, concerns, and needs.
  • Present Interface’s philosophy, programs, and services in a compelling and highly personalized way.
  • Recommend appropriate programs and prepare proposals and enrollment recommendations.
  • Maintain consistent, proactive follow-up throughout what can be a longer, relationship-driven sales cycle.
  • Convert qualified opportunities into long-term Interface clients while delivering an exceptional prospective-family experience.

Relationship Management

  • Build trust and credibility with prospective families through excellent communication, responsiveness, and follow-through.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource on Interface’s programs and educational philosophy.
  • Develop relationships that generate referrals and strengthen Interface’s reputation within the local community.
  • Ensure a seamless transition to our Customer Service and Counseling teams following enrollment.

Sales Operations & Collaboration

  • Maintain accurate and timely records of sales activity, client communication, pipeline status, and forecasts within our CRM.
  • Track sales performance, conversion rates, lead sources, and business development activity.
  • Provide regular pipeline updates and forecasts to company leadership.
  • Partner closely with Counseling, Customer Service, Marketing, Operations, and Leadership to support enrollment and deliver a consistent client experience.
  • Contribute to sales strategy and broader company growth initiatives.

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of experience in consultative sales, business development, enrollment, education, or another relationship-driven field.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate new business rather than relying solely on inbound opportunities.
  • An exceptional relationship builder who earns trust quickly and communicates effectively with sophisticated clients.
  • Comfortable navigating high-consideration purchasing decisions and longer sales cycles.
  • Entrepreneurial, proactive, and highly self-directed.
  • Organized and disciplined about follow-up, pipeline management, and CRM usage.
  • Collaborative and comfortable working across teams.
  • Genuinely interested in education, student development, and helping families make consequential decisions.
  • Mandarin/English bilingual proficiency is a plus, but not required.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States. Interface Education Services is unable to provide employment visa sponsorship for this position.

You’ll Thrive at Interface If You

  • Enjoy building relationships and creating opportunities from the ground up.
  • Approach sales as a consultative process rather than a transaction.
  • Take ownership of outcomes and are energized by ambitious goals.
  • Are comfortable operating with autonomy in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Value collaboration and believe an exceptional client experience requires strong teamwork.
  • Want your work to have a meaningful impact on students and families.

Location & Travel

This is a hybrid, market-facing role based in the New York City metropolitan area. Candidates should be located in or within reasonable proximity to New York City and comfortable traveling throughout the city and surrounding region to meet with prospective families, referral partners, and community organizations.

Periodic travel outside the region will also be required for company meetings, conferences, and events. Some evening and occasional weekend availability is expected for family consultations and community programming.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $60,000–$75,000
  • Performance-based commission with on-target earnings (OTE) of $150,000–$200,000
  • Significant upside for strong performance
  • Health stipend
  • 15 days paid time off
  • 10 paid public holidays

Interface Education Services is an equal opportunity employer. We value diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences and are committed to creating an inclusive workplace.

Skills Required

  • 5+ years of experience in consultative sales, business development, enrollment, education, or a related relationship-driven field
  • Proven ability to proactively generate new business rather than rely solely on inbound leads
  • Demonstrated relationship-building and consultative sales skills for high-consideration, longer sales cycles
  • Experience managing full sales cycle, pipeline management, CRM usage, tracking conversion rates, and providing forecasts
  • Located in or within reasonable proximity to New York City and comfortable traveling throughout the city and surrounding region; periodic travel outside region and some evening/weekend availability
  • Organized, self-directed, entrepreneurial, collaborative, and disciplined about follow-up and client communication
  • Mandarin/English bilingual proficiency
