Join us to do the best work of your career as a Senior Electrical Engineer / Group Leader in our Miami, FL office (Hybrid Schedule).
What You will Achieve:
As a Senior Electrical Engineer / Group Leader, you will be designing the building infrastructure for various projects including Healthcare, Mission Critical Data Centers, Science and Technology, Academic and Commercial buildings.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as lead project engineer on a variety of commercial projects from new construction to renovations through all phases from conceptual design to construction.
- Project types include but are not limited to office buildings, labs, data centers, academic, high rise residential, hotels, museums, industrial, financial, government.
- Coordinate design with internal teams (mechanical, plumbing, sustainability) and external stakeholders (architects, contractors, consultants).
- Design of power distribution, lighting, emergency and standby power supply in accordance with all applicable NEC codes and standards.
- Develop specifications, legends, site plans, lighting plans, power plans, one-lines, riser diagrams, details, various schedules such as panelboard schedules and mechanical schedules as well as load calculations.
- Lead the electrical team of engineers and designers and provide technical guidance in the development of the construction documents as well as support assigned staff on technical and administrative issues..
- Perform Construction Administration tasks such as field visits and subsequent issuance of field reports, responding to RFIs and reviewing shop drawings.
Essential Skills:
- 15+ years of related experience
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience
- Understanding of the NEC, IBC and IECC
- PE license is a plus

The total compensation that we expect to pay for this position is dependent on years of experience, licensure, education, geographic location, and project portfolio but expected to be in the $120,000 to $150,000 range.
