Senior DevOps Engineer

WOO X is a global centralised crypto trading platform offering spot and perpetual futures trading. With roots in quantitative trading, we focus on the details that matter to traders: liquidity, execution quality, and reliable tools.

Our team is fully remote. We’re looking for people who know their craft, are curious about the business, and want a hand in improving how the exchange works.

We’re looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to maintain and improve the infrastructure behind WOO X. You’ll work closely with engineers to keep production systems reliable, make deployments more predictable, and reduce manual work across our environments.

This is a hands-on individual contributor role covering cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, and monitoring. You’ll have room to investigate recurring problems and make improvements that last beyond the next deployment.

• Operate and improve AWS infrastructure and Kubernetes environments, with attention to availability, capacity, performance, and cost.
• Manage infrastructure through Terraform and keep environment changes consistent and traceable.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, including deployment checks and rollback procedures.
• Develop monitoring, logging, and alerting that help engineers identify problems and respond effectively.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues, investigate root causes, and follow through on fixes.
• Automate recurring operational tasks and maintain clear documentation and runbooks.

• Experience in a DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering role within crypto or Web3.
• Hands-on experience running production workloads on AWS and managing Kubernetes clusters and containerised applications.
• Practical experience with Terraform, CI/CD systems, and monitoring and logging tools.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across Linux, networking, and distributed systems.
• Scripting or programming skills for automation and operational tooling.
• The ability to own work independently and communicate clearly in Mandarin with engineering colleagues.

• Experience at a centralised crypto exchange.
• Experience supporting trading systems or other services with demanding availability and latency requirements.

This role is fully remote within Taiwan. You’ll work directly with engineers on the infrastructure they use to build and run the exchange.

Regular on-call rotations or shift work are not a standard part of the role. Occasional urgent incidents may require a timely response outside normal working hours.
