As a Senior DevOps Engineer at QRT, you will be a key player in designing, building and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our quantitative research and trading platforms. You will work closely with developers and quantitative researchers to ensure seamless CI/CD pipelines, robust automation and scalable deployment strategies.
Your future role within QRT
- Building and maintaining environments for Python development, ensuring optimal performance, compatibility and security
- Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid and reliable software delivery across multiple environments
- Architecting and maintaining cloud infrastructure on AWS, with a strong focus on EKS (Kubernetes) for container orchestration
- Ensuring the stability and security of on-premises production systems, including infrastructure automation and monitoring
- Implementing and managing automation tools to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention
- Collaborating with globally distributed teams, ensuring smooth communication and coordination between teams in different time zones
- Driving best practices in DevOps, infrastructure as code (IaC) and security compliance
Your present skillset
- Strong experience in CI/CD pipeline development and deployment automation
- Proficiency with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes (EKS) and Docker
- Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Strong background in AWS services, including EC2, S3, Lambda and networking components
- Hands-on experience managing on-premises production systems, ensuring high availability and scalability
- Proficiency in monitoring, logging and security best practices for cloud and on-prem environments
- Excellent English communication skills to effectively coordinate across teams in different locations
- Ability to document workflows, troubleshoot issues and provide clear technical explanations
- A proactive mindset, capable of driving process improvements and automation initiatives
