We're looking for a senior engineer who can do both — write production-grade code and lead the team that ships it. You've built and operated web and mobile applications at scale, and you know what it takes to keep them stable, secure, and fast in the real world. You're comfortable making architecture decisions, running code reviews, managing a distributed team of 4–7 engineers, and still getting your hands dirty when it matters. What You'll Do
Application Development & Architecture
- Own web and mobile application development from requirements to production.
- Design scalable, secure, and maintainable application architecture.
- Build applications using Flutter, React, JavaScript/TypeScript, and related technologies.
- Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, databases, and third-party integrations.
- Evaluate technical trade-offs and make sound architecture decisions.
- Maintain technical documentation and reduce technical debt.
Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a remote team of 4–7 developers.
- Convert product requirements into technical plans, milestones, and deliverables.
- Assign work, conduct code reviews, and maintain engineering standards.
- Coordinate with product, design, AI/ML, and data teams.
Delivery & Operations
- Manage testing, CI/CD pipelines, cloud deployment, monitoring, and production support.
- Oversee releases to web environments, the Apple App Store, and Google Play.
- Ensure application performance, security, reliability, and scalability.
- Diagnose production issues and implement permanent solutions.
Who You Are
- 5+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proven experience building and operating production-grade web and mobile applications.
- Strong experience with Flutter and Dart.
- Strong experience with React and JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, responsive design, and browser compatibility.
- Experience developing REST or GraphQL APIs and backend services.
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of mobile application architecture — state management, notifications, authentication, and offline functionality.
- Experience with Git, automated testing, CI/CD, cloud platforms, and container-based deployments.
- Experience publishing and maintaining applications on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
- Practical understanding of application security, monitoring, logging, and performance optimisation.
- Demonstrated experience leading or managing an engineering team.
- Strong written communication and remote collaboration skills.
