About The Job:

At ULAC, the Senior Designer is responsible for the design, development, and execution of innovative, brand-right product across all categories within menswear. This role plays a key part in driving strategic business initiatives by creating commercially successful products that align with the brand's vision and market trends. The Senior Designer will lead the creative process, developing compelling product assortments that balance innovation, functionality, and commercial viability.


What You Will Do:

· Lead the design, development, and execution of multiple seasonal collections for menswear brand ensuring alignment with brand vision, business objectives, and market trends.

· Research, analyze, and interpret emerging fashion, consumer, and marketplace trends to develop innovative and commercially successful product concepts.

· Create, review, and approve seasonal CADs, colorways, and design updates while ensuring consistency across product lines and brand standards.

· Oversee the end-to-end product development process, from initial concept and sketching through sample execution and final production, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.

· Develop and maintain comprehensive tech packs, ensuring accuracy of product specifications, construction details, and fit requirements.

· Manage all product development documentation and communications within the PLM system, including tech packs, sample comments, approvals, and revisions.

· Partner closely with overseas factories and vendors to review design details, troubleshoot development challenges, approve revisions, and ensure product integrity throughout the development cycle.

· Review and approve lab dips, strike-offs, fabric submissions, trims, and development samples to ensure design intent and quality expectations are achieved.

· Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Merchandising, Production, Technical Design, and Sourcing teams to deliver products that meet customer needs, margin goals, and target price points.

· Present seasonal concepts, product strategies, and design recommendations to internal stakeholders and leadership teams.

· Provide guidance and day-to-day direction to designers, fostering creative development and ensuring executional excellence. 

· Support the Design Manager in driving seasonal product strategies, managing workload distribution, and achieving department objectives. 

· Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned in support of company initiatives and business needs.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, extensive knowledge of garment construction and 8-10 years of experience in Design, including but not limited to experience with menswear.
  • Knowledge of fashion trends and general trends in color, fabric and style.
  • High creativity and artistic abilities, an eye for color, texture and pattern with keen attention to detail and ability to visualize in three dimensions.
  • Proficient computer skills to include Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator & Photoshop), Microsoft Office, and Acrobat
  • Excellent written and verbal skills as required for effective interpersonal communication
  • Strong organizational skills that reflect ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks and workload seamlessly and follow-up.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team under critical time frames.
  • Self driven and experience working in a fast-paced environment and ability to apply good work habits to effectively complete assigned tasks and contribute to the smooth operation of the company/department.
