We are looking for a Senior Data Systems Engineer (Networking) to join the Global IT team of a fast-growing international technology company. This role will serve as the organization's senior networking expert, playing a key part in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and resilience of network infrastructure supporting both manufacturing and corporate environments.

You will work closely with international teams, contributing to new site deployments while maintaining business-critical network operations across multiple locations.

Responsibilities
  • Own and operate LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi infrastructure across manufacturing and office environments.
  • Lead network readiness for new site builds and facility expansions.
  • Manage routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, ISP circuits, and vendor relationships.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex networking issues, including VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, and connectivity.
  • Establish and maintain network standards, documentation, and operational best practices.
  • Act as the senior escalation point for critical network incidents impacting production and business operations.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and security of the organization's network infrastructure.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
  • Previous experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or other 24/7 mission-critical environments is highly preferred.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with:
    • Wi-Fi design and deployment
    • VLANs
    • Routing & Switching
    • Firewalls
    • VPN technologies
    • ISP management
  • Experience supporting high-availability and production-critical infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with technologies such as:
    • Cisco (Meraki)
    • Cloudflare
    • Atlassian
    • Network monitoring tools
    • Cloud networking (AWS and/or GCP)
    • On-premises infrastructure
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
  • German is considered a plus.
  • Willingness to travel between company sites within Spain when required.
