Position: Senior CNO Developer
Location: Annapolis Junction, MD 
Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with CI Poly (or ability to obtain prior to starting)

WHAT YOU’LL DO

SIXGEN is actively seeking candidates to provide embedded operational support, develop advanced cyber capabilities, and deliver mission-focused software solutions in support of critical customer operations. This role combines software engineering, rapid prototyping, vulnerability research, and close collaboration with mission partners to develop and integrate cutting-edge cyber capabilities.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide embedded operations support, capability integration, and rapid prototyping in support of customer missions.
• Design, develop, test, and debug software components, modules, and applications to meet mission requirements and development schedules.
• Adhere to software build and release schedules while documenting technical findings and presenting results to stakeholders.
• Develop software prototype demonstrations and conduct independent research into software and device vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with headquarters teams and local customers to develop, integrate, and enhance advanced Cyber Network Operations (CNO) tools.
• Identify operational risks, manage competing priorities, and support mission execution in fast-paced operational environments.

Technology proficiency includes:

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline with 12+ years of experience, or Master's degree with 10+ years of experience
• Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems
• Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Python
• Assembly language experience (any platform/processor)
• Experience supporting software development, reverse engineering, and vulnerability analysis
• Experience with two or more of the following platforms: Linux, Windows, Mobile
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, AI/ML, cloud computing, or full-stack development
• Ability to manage competing priorities and identify operational risks in mission environments
• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph (or ability to obtain prior to starting)
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification (CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP) preferred
• Experience supporting USCYBERCOM, NSA, DoD cyber operations, or similar mission environments preferred
