Job Description:
Quevera is seeking a highly skilled Senior Backend Software Engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph in Annapolis Junction, Maryland.
This role supports the design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and enhancement of backend software solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.
- Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
- Conduct design and code reviews.
- Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
- Utilize Jira and Confluence.
- Utilize Git for software development.
- Develop software using Java, C++, and/or Python.
- Work with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL.
Minimum Requirements:
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph required.
- Twenty (20) years of experience as a Software Engineer in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Four (4) years of additional Software Engineering experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
- Experience using Jira and Confluence.
- Experience with Git.
- Experience with Java, C++, and/or Python.
- Experience with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL.
