Position Overview:

World Food Program USA’s corporate partnerships team is looking for a Senior Associate, Corporate Partnerships. Working in a collaborative team environment, this role will report to WFP USA’s Deputy Director, Corporate Partnerships and will play a crucial role in helping implement the corporate strategy to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward corporate partners. This position helps manage corporate partner relationships, supports revenue generation activities, and coordinates cross-functional initiatives that advance WFP USA's mission to end global hunger. The Senior Associate serves as an internal point person for the Corporate Partnerships team, helping coordinate team operations, knowledge management, project tracking, and collaboration with colleagues across WFP USA, in addition this role will manage a small portfolio of corporate partners and prospects.

Highlighted Responsibilities:

  • Assist Corporate Partnerships teams with various partnership management activities (i.e. review reports and proposals, drafting meeting agendas, presentations, and concept notes).
  • Act as a point of contact between Corporate Partnerships team and other departments and teams within WFP USA.
  • Support team in project management activities, including prospect/partner research, partner and vendor agreements, and event and campaign support.
  • Responsible for updating and managing partnership records and reports in Salesforce.
  • Support and manage relationships of a small portfolio of current and prospective organizations through all phases of the donor pipeline, including cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
  • Undertake other responsibilities assigned by the Deputy and Senior Director.
Qualifications

A well-qualified candidate will possess the following:

  • A minimum of two to three years of experience in a non-profit, fundraising, grant management, partnerships, multilateral affairs, or related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (i.e. international relations, political science or related field) or equivalent years of experience.
  • Passion for the mission of WFP USA, global food security and working towards a Zero Hunger World.
  • Familiarity with the practices and techniques of fundraising and corporate social impact.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage workflow processes, agendas, and schedules.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM software is desirable.

Skills Required
