The Opportunity: Role Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Senior Account Executive to join our dynamic team. This role requires attention to detail and strong organizational skills. This individual will be instrumental in mastering day-to-day account management skills and beginning to develop mentoring and management skill sets. You will be responsible for supporting leadership in account management and working with agency team leaders to facilitate optimal client service and a quality experience.
Note: The individual in this role must be located within a commutable distance to our Cedar Knolls, New Jersey office. This person will be expected to attend special meetings and events at the office, in addition to client visits in the Cedar Knolls area, a few times per month.
Key Responsibilities
Core Function:
- Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deliverables and ensure that projects are executed on time and on budget.
- Partner with the team to efficiently manage the project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely completion of all deliverables.
- Manage submission process and review all deliverables and aggregate team feedback.
- Develop strategic and actionable project briefs.
- Communicate client changes and rationale to internal team following client reviews.
- Prepare weekly status reports and set up weekly project status calls.
- Actively monitor the headlines for current brand and competitor news, trends, and white space opportunity.
What You'll Bring: Required Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Experience:
- 2-4 years of advertising agency experience required.
- Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare.
Specialized Knowledge:
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical medical, legal, regulatory (MLR) review process and systems (Veeva).
- Excellent understanding of digital marketplace and ad formats.
- Ability to think strategically, creatively, and collaboratively.
- Experience preparing financial worksheets and reports.
Skills:
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal skills.
- Highly effective communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deliverables.
- Ability to travel locally to clients.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
- Media experience is a plus.
