Position: Security Architect - Project Lead
Location: Columbia, SC
Duration :12+ Months
Complete Description: SCOPE OF THE PROJECT:
THIS POSITION PROVIDES THE HIGHEST LEVEL OF TECHNICAL EXPERTISE ADMINISTERING SECURITY DEVICES ON THE NETWORK, PERFORMING TECHNICAL ASSESSMENTS AGAINST SECURITY ARCHITECTURE AND CONDUCTING INCIDENT RESPONSE ANALYSIS.
DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
ADMINISTER SECURITY DEVICES ON THE NETWORK;
CONDUCT SECURITY ASSESSMENTS FOR COMPLIANCE WITH SECURITY ARCHITECTURE;
ANALYZE AND ADVISE ON REMEDIATION OF VULNERABILITY AND HARDENING PROBLEMS
EVALUATE VARIANCE AND EXCEPTION REQUESTS AGAINST SECURITY POLICIES;
EVALUATE PRIVILEGED NETWORK ACCESS REQUESTS AGAINST SEPARATION OF DUTIES POLICIES;
PERFORM INCIDENT RESPONSE ANALYSIS.
REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
Experience in projects involving PCI/NIST security implementations and/or audits.
IT Security
Ability to install and use various security tools
Experience in projects involving PCI/NIST security implementations and/or audits.
IRS Safeguard Computer Security Evaluation Matrix (SCSEM)
MCAFEE ENTERPRISE SECURITY
NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF STANDARDS AND TECHNOLOGY CONTROLS
risk/vulnerability assessments
Security - Knowledge in networking, databases, systems and Web operations

Strong Tenable Security Center Administration skills required.

- Experience performing risk and vulnerability assessments
- Ability to install and use various security tools
- Knowledge of networking, databases, systems, and web operations
- Incident response analysis experience
- Security information architecture expertise
