Job Description

Overview: We are seeking a talented SAP S/4HANA ABAP Lead/Senior Consultant with specialized experience in Selective Data Transfer (SDT) or SNP Bluefield Migration. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing custom ABAP solutions within SAP S/4HANA environments, while also leveraging their expertise in data migration methodologies to ensure seamless transitions for our clients. Resource must be able to speak Spanish

Responsibilities:

  1. ABAP Development: Design, develop, and implement custom ABAP programs, interfaces, enhancements, and reports to meet business requirements within SAP S/4HANA systems.
  2. Selective Data Transfer (SDT): Utilize expertise in SDT to extract, transform, and load data from legacy SAP systems into SAP S/4HANA, ensuring data integrity and consistency throughout the migration process.
  3. SNP Bluefield Migration: Demonstrate proficiency in SNP Bluefield Migration methodology, collaborating with project teams to design and execute migration strategies that minimize disruption and maximize efficiency.
  4. Technical Analysis: Conduct comprehensive technical analysis of client requirements, identifying opportunities for process improvements, performance optimizations, and automation.
  5. Integration: Work closely with functional consultants, developers, and stakeholders to integrate custom ABAP solutions with existing SAP modules, third-party applications, and external systems.
  6. Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute test plans, perform unit testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the quality and reliability of ABAP developments and migration activities.
  7. Documentation: Prepare technical specifications, design documents, and other documentation as required, ensuring clear and comprehensive communication of solution designs and implementation details.
  8. Knowledge Transfer: Provide guidance, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to junior team members, fostering skill development and knowledge sharing within the SAP ABAP practice.
  9. Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest SAP technologies, ABAP programming techniques, and migration methodologies, continuously expanding skills and knowledge to drive innovation and excellence.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  2. Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development, with at least 3 years of experience specifically focused on SAP S/4HANA.
  3. Proven expertise in Selective Data Transfer (SDT) or SNP Bluefield Migration, with successful project implementations.
  4. Strong proficiency in SAP BTP/SAP HANA ABAP programming concepts, including object-oriented programming (OOP), REST APIs, ODATA, ALV reporting, BAPIs, RFCs, and SAP Fiori/UI5 development.
  5. Experience with SAP S/4HANA data models, CDS views, and AMDP (ABAP Managed Database Procedures) is highly desirable.
  6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  8. Certifications in SAP ABAP development and/or SAP S/4HANA are a plus.
