Location: Hybrid | Experience: 5–8 years
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements; convert them into functional specifications and SAP configuration
- Configure and support core modules (SAP FI/CO, MM, SD — specify per module need) including integration touchpoints with ONESOURCE/tax engines where relevant
- Lead fit-gap analysis, process mapping, and solution design workshops
- Manage end-to-end testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT) and support cutover/go-live activities
- Create functional documentation, training materials, and conduct user training
- Troubleshoot production issues and drive root-cause resolution with technical (ABAP) teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Tax, IT) on process improvement initiatives
Requirements
Required Skills
- 5+ years hands-on SAP functional experience in at least one core module (FI/CO, MM, or SD)
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects
- Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, or record-to-report)
- Ability to write functional specs for ABAP/technical teams
- Experience with integration to third-party tax/compliance tools (e.g., ONESOURCE, Vertex, Avalara) is a plus
- SAP certification preferred
- Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills
Nice to Have
- Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5, SAP BTP, or S/4HANA Cloud
- Domain knowledge in legal, tax, or financial services industries
