Acts as a subject matter expert in one or more technical, administrative and/or functional aspects of finance or supply chain and related modules within an SAP/S4 environment. Works closely with internal stakeholders to define the technical systems and/or functional enhancements needed to deliver business results. Performs detailed analysis of business needs, recommend potential functional, technical and/or administrative strategies and approaches for solutions with internal/external clients.Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Researches supply chain and finance business needs and translates into the technical and/or functional enhancements necessary for configuration, business process changes and if needed development.
- Develops detailed functional and technical specifications.
- Troubleshoots and resolves complex application issues and provides end user support.
- Monitors applications for issues in connection with maintenance, upgrades and implementations.
- Leads performance of business process design, reengineering and documentation for new technology.
- Builds application tables, panels and reports for the S4/HANA application.
- Codes individual modules and complex functions for the S4/HANA application.
- Collaborates with SSM’s development team. Communicates difficult concepts and negotiates with others to adopt a different point of view.
- Uses awareness of department and system initiatives to drive decision making, while maintaining a positive relationship with the customer.
- Provides Level II support for various applications in analyst’s area of expertise; finance is vendor invoice management, security, treasury, supply chain, Ariba, GHX, etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent years of experience and education
EXPERIENCE
- Five years’ SAP experience with two years’ in SAP S/4
- Experience with SAP Finance and/or Supply Chain functionality, and/or design, configuration, ABAP development, technical environment concepts/functions
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
- Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
- Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
- Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
- Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
- Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
- Rare climbing.
