Job Summary
The Sales Support Administrator provides administrative support to the sales department and external sales team. This role ensures that sales processes are executed efficiently and accurately, supporting Manitex products from order entry to final invoicing. The Sales Support Administrator serves as a key liaison between customers, sales, and internal departments to resolve issues, maintain accurate records, and promote customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
•    Manage all aspects of order entry, invoicing, and sales administration.
•    Establish and maintain professional relationships with distributors and end-users via phone and email.
•    Process new customer orders efficiently and accurately, verifying prices, discounts, and components in Epicor.
•    Ensure sales commissions are correctly entered into the system.
•    Contact customers to obtain missing information or verify order details.
•    Update orders to reflect changes and notify appropriate departments.
•    Work with engineering to resolve product or technical queries.
•    Provide customers with sales confirmations and final invoices.
•    Maintain and update sales records and customer information.
•    Perform folder audits and invoicing; fulfill SOX audit requirements at quarter and year-end.
•    Provide invoice authorization forms to customers for approval prior to final invoicing.
•    Confirm that customers have received final invoices via email or USPS.
•    Collaborate with the sales team to ensure high customer satisfaction.
•    Maintain up-to-date product knowledge, including features and benefits of Manitex products.
•    Utilize working knowledge of industrial equipment associated with products.
•    Calculate Federal Excise Tax (FET) for final invoicing.
•    Coordinate and execute onsite and offsite sales functions and events.
•    Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
•    High School Diploma or GED required.
•    Minimum of 5 years of administrative experience; at least 2 years in sales order entry preferred.
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
•    Prior ERP experience required; experience with Epicor ERP is a plus.
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills.
•    Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail.
•    Ability to navigate complex situations and work effectively as part of a team.
•    Ability to work extended hours at month-end as needed.
