St. Vincent de Paul CityThrift is looking for an outgoing Sales Associate with a passion for helping people, to join our team!
As a CityThrift Sales Associate, you will be responsible for operating Point of Sales register, assisting customers, stocking, and maintaining inventory of merchandise and assisting in maintaining the store in a clean an orderly manner. Provides a high level of customer service to store customers, working to ensure a positive purchasing experience.
Position Details
Part time position expected 20-29 hours per week
Must be able to pass background check and drug test
QualificationsSkills Required
- 1 year retail work experience
- Ability to operate Point of Sales system software, and receive and disperse cash accurately
- Demonstrated, excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with diverse population
- Good verbal/writer communication skills
- Ability to read and perform simple mathematical functions at the high school level
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and be flexible in multi-duty environment

St. Vincent de Paul Society — Dayton District Council is a faith-based nonprofit that provides person-to-person assistance across the Miami Valley. Their programs include emergency shelter for women and families, supportive and permanent housing, food and clothing assistance, veteran supportive services, and a community thrift store (CityThrift) whose proceeds support their mission to help neighbors achieve stability and self-sufficiency.
